About The Pool

The Littleton Town Pool was built in 1969 on the former Chiswick Inn property at Remich Park. Following the pool’s completion in August 1969, the facility was turned over to the Littleton Park Commission to be maintained and supervised and is heavily used by the children of Littleton each summer. Over the last decade, the pool has deteriorated as a result of deferred maintenance.

In March 2021, town of Littleton voters raised and appropriated $200,000.00 for the design and construction of a new pool, water activity area and pool and pump house, which was conditioned upon participation in grant funding

In March 2024, town of Littleton voters approved a Swimming Pool Capital Reserve Fund.

In March 2026, town of Littleton voters approved a transfer of the previously approved $200,000.00 from the General Fund Unassigned balance and put in the Swimming Pool Capital Reserve Fund.

In December 2026, $20,000.00 was raised to benefit the Town Pool by the people of Littleton in the memory of Brien L. Ward who had recently passed.

On July 15, 2026, the pool was shut down for the year as the result of safety concerns involving a sand filtration system and other deferred maintenance issues.

On August 20, 2026, the Littleton Park Commissioners established a Littleton Town Pool Sub-Committee of concerned citizens to develop a plan to reopen and renovate the pool and the Littleton Pool Project was born. We hope you will help us!
